A house belonging to a prison officer working at the Jaffna Prison was attacked with a petrol bomb early this morning (15) in the Colombuthurai area of Jaffna.
The attack occurred around 5:00 a.m. when unidentified individuals threw a petrol bomb at the residence, causing damage and sparking panic in the neighbourhood.
No injuries were reported. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and security has been tightened in the area.
