A 59-year-old father of two was beaten to death on Monday evening following a land dispute near the Kopay National College of Education in Kopay.
According to initial reports, the victim was watering his garden when a disagreement erupted with residents of a nearby house over a land issue. The confrontation escalated, and the man was allegedly attacked with a spade, sustaining severe head injuries. He died at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspects are members of the same family. One individual has been arrested, while two others have fled the area.
The Kopay Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
