Air India Flight from Colombo to Chennai Cancelled After Bird Strike
An Air India flight scheduled to depart from Colombo to Chennai with 158 passengers was cancelled today following a bird strike, airport officials confirmed.
According to the officials, the aircraft encountered a bird strike during takeoff, prompting the airline to cancel the flight as a safety precaution.
The plane landed safely, and all passengers were disembarked without incident. Further inspection and maintenance checks are being carried out on the aircraft, officials added.
