ITAK nominates Kandhasamy Selvarajah for Trincomalee UC Chairman post
The Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) has decided to nominate Kandhasamy Selvarajah, a newly elected member of the Trincomalee Urban Council, for the position of Chairman of the Trincomalee Urban Council, according to party sources.
This was officially announced on May 28 by Shanmugam Kugathasan, ITAK’s district leader and Member of Parliament. He further stated that the decision was made democratically during a meeting held under his leadership, which was attended by all nine newly elected members of the Urban Council.
