Large Haul of Kerala Ganja Seized in Jaffna

A major consignment of Kerala ganja was seized early this morning near the Udayasuriyan Grounds in Vadamarachchi East, Vaththiraayan, Jaffna.

According to reports, the operation took place around 2:30 AM and was based on a tip-off received by military intelligence. Acting swiftly, the Special Task Force (STF) conducted an extensive search operation across the Vaththiraayan area.

During the raid, officers recovered 54 packages containing a total of 103 kilograms of Kerala ganja. However, the suspects managed to flee the scene before they could be apprehended.

Authorities have launched further investigations to track down those involved in the smuggling operation.
