Mother Gives Birth Five Babies at Jaffna Hospital
A remarkable incident has been reported at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, where a mother gave birth to five babies in a single delivery.
The Director of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr. T.Sathiyamoorthy, confirmed the news and stated that the babies were born on May 24, 2025.
He further mentioned that all five newborns are currently receiving care in the special neonatal intensive care unit. Both the mother and the babies are in good health, according to the hospital authorities.
