Northern Governor Visits ReeCha Organic Farm in Iyakkachchi

Iyakkachchi, Kilinochchi – The Governor of the Northern Province, Mr. N. Vedanayakan, recently paid an official visit to ReeCha Organic Farm, located within ReeCha Park & Resort in Iyakkachchi, Palai Jaffna.

During his visit, Governor Vedanayakan toured the organic farm facilities, sampled a range of locally produced refreshments, and held discussions with the management team regarding potential investments and future support for the farm’s agricultural and recreational initiatives.

The Governor expressed his appreciation for ReeCha’s efforts in promoting sustainable farming, organic agriculture, and community-based development. Discussions also highlighted opportunities for expanding the resort’s services, which include hospitality, amusement, and animal husbandry, aimed at boosting local tourism and the economy.
