Kilinochchi Police Recover Large Cache of Live Ammunition

Kilinochchi Police have recovered a large quantity of live ammunition near Vigneswara Vidyalayam in Puthumurippu, Kilinochchi,

According to reports, a suspicious scattering of bullets was observed near the school premises early this morning. Upon noticing the ammunition, members of the school community immediately alerted both the Kilinochchi Police and Army.

Responding promptly, police and army personnel arrived at the scene and conducted a careful search of the area. Over 150 bullets were recovered during the operation.

Authorities have yet to determine how the ammunition came to be in the area. Kilinochchi Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
