Tourist Information Centre – Jaffna

This Tourist Information Center, located just outside the Jaffna Railway Station, is managed by the Northern Province Tourism Bureau. The initiative was envisioned and launched in 2019 by the former Governor of the Northern Province, Dr. Suren Raghavan.

This is a significant project that provides comprehensive information about tourism in the Northern Province. Many local and international tourists who visit Jaffna stop by here to gather details about the region’s attractions and cultural highlights. The centre offers free brochures with extensive information, visual displays, and a selection of souvenirs for sale.
