Woman Caught Smuggling Gold Through Jaffna Airport
A woman was arrested yesterday (21) at Jaffna’s Palaly International Airport for attempting to smuggle gold hidden in her body.
The suspect, a resident of Colombo, had reportedly brought the gold from India. Airport authorities discovered the smuggled gold during a routine security check.
